Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 12 slices deli ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  • Use a sharp knife to slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally as one slab. Do not separate them into individual rolls.
  • Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
  • Layer the ham evenly over the bottom rolls.
  • Add slices of Swiss cheese on top of the ham, covering the area evenly.
  • Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese to close the sliders.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat, then stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
  • Spoon or brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls, making sure to coat well.
  • Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 15 minutes covered, then uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden and slightly crisp.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
  • Slice and serve warm.
